I thought this installation piece was amazing. At first glance I wasn’t sure what it was made of but when I read the description I realized that it was carved out of glass to loo like scenes from nature, such as a coral reef.
Shany Leib produces glass components for her work (the process of their formation can be viewed on her website). Then she makes them beautiful, looked like a coral reef cut from the work. I did not think that such a beautiful, undulating installations could be done from glass, the colour within them is stunning.
